8-minute fat-loss "Turbine" circuit

What in the world is a "Fat Loss Turbine"?

Well, the definition of "turbine" is a machine for producing continuous power in which a wheel is  made to revolve by a fast-moving flow of water, steam gas, air or other fluid.

You're going to become a turbine... and your flow is going to be stored fat. 

"That sounds horrendous Mikey... and I like it".

You already know that that the "Tabata" protocol is 20  seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest and  this is done for 8 rounds. 

The only thing is that it's just one "conditioning" move  after another. This is good for losing fat, however,  doing ONLY Tabatas with Jumping Jacks, Burpees,  etc. won't do much at all for muscle definition.

And with the US Marines, they can't afford to just lose fat and become weaker... they have to change directions on a dime, push and pull heavy stuff and more.

So, here's an 8-minute Challenge for you that my pancake friend Jason Klein has used with busy US Marine men and women (by the way - thank you to those ALL that serve!). 

Marines don't have a lot of time and I bet it's the same with you.

Strategic work/ rest ratios paired with proper bodyweight strength training moves will boost your fat burning hormones, help you recover faster and improve your overall fitness...

Here's how it works using ZERO equipment 

You'll combine two Turbine circuits for one workout. Each Turbine is just 4 minutes... but you MUST do both in order for it work.

Each exercise is to be done for 45 seconds followed by 15 seconds of rest. This workout focuses on upper body...

How to reverse high cortisol (naturally)

As I promised yesterday, I am going to share an incredibly effective solution for naturally reversing high cortisol levels, which cause fat to literally “stick” to you. 

It’s all part of the concept that my friend, Jason Klein created while a Fitness Instructor to US Marines and their wives.

It’s a series of 3-unique concepts and when used in a specific sequence, can boost metabolism, burn fat and get you lean fast. 

Concept #1. Metabolism Reset

Think of metabolism reset as when a jet starts up its turbine engine.

BEWARE: The Fat-storage hormone

Did you know that insulin is your body’s primary way for transporting nutrients?

It is a powerful chemical that our bodies create naturally in response to eating carbs, fat and protein. 

Insulin is produced in the pancreas and when functioning properly, can produce some very desirable benefits, such as:

-Healthy metabolism to keep up with your kids

-Consistent energy and sleep patterns

-Increased testosterone and libido levels

-More fat-burning potential

When the insulin is NOT functioning properly, however, it can have an alarming impact on your body’s ability to do all of the above.

If you’ve been trying to get rid of the fat that “sticks” to your midsection, arms or thighs no matter what you do, it could be a sign of insulin resistance.

Let me explain…

The hormone insulin helps control the amount of sugar (glucose) in the blood. 

With insulin resistance, the body's cells don't respond normally to insulin. 

Glucose can't enter the cells as easily, so it builds up in the blood.

This is the early stage of type II diabetes.

You see, over-production of insulin is something that happens over the course of time.

Months and sometimes, years of unrealized insulin-resistance. 

So what are some early indicators of insulin resistance?

-Increased fatty storage around the midsection, thighs and arms


-Loss of appetite

-Inconsistent sleep patterns

-Low energy levels

The Good news is that Insulin resistance can be reversed naturally by taking a few, specific steps. 

The Bad News….

Insulin resistance is only one part of the fat storage cycle.

Cortisol is the stress hormone and is triggered as a direct result from stress caused by insulin resistance and can be the very reason that your fat seems to be sticking to you…
