Whole Wheat and Your Body – The Effects

Brown bread vs white bread.  Which one will help you shed the fat?

The answer…

Neither.

In terms of fat loss, neither white nor brown bread will help you shed fat. 

Here’s why: When your body processes whole wheat it causes a rise in blood sugar levels resulting in a higher production of insulin. And when your body produces insulin not only do you store more fat but you also get hungry faster and crave more food.

At the end of the day, they are both starchy carbs that won’t do you a lot of good as far getting rid of the fat around your belly.
