This is a subject that most people have problems with. The subject is: Food labels.
Many foods you see in supermarkets are labeled as health foods. One popular marketing trick is to use the words “Low Fat”. Though it’s true, low fat products do contain less fat than the full flavored versions but that’s not the end of the story.
Next time you’re at a supermarket, compare the sugar content of low fat mayonnaise versus the sugar content of full fat mayonnaise. You will find the low fat version actually contains far more sugar.
Did you know, sugar turns to fat in the body???
That’s right, if you don’t burn that extra energy it will turn to fat in your body anyway!
This is just one of many sneaky marketing tricks that make you THINK you’re doing the right thing, when in actual fact you’re only making things worse.
